Which graphics card is better for running Sims 2 and Sims 2 EPs?

I recently got a new Dell Pentium 4 computer that has 180GB ram on it.

What I was wondering is which graphics card is better for Sims 2 and the EPs? The Intel 82865G that is in the machine now or the Radeon 9550 that was in my old machine.

Check the website, thesims2.com, they recommend several graphics cards that work well with the game. I have nightlife and I need a better graphics card and/or more ram for my laptop. You sound like you have plenty of ram though so you should try playing the game to see how well it works. You might be able to get away with using whatever graphics card you have. Good luck!
