And do i need to change my motherbord, i dont know much about graphics cards...so any help is appreciated. I am looking fo a card at a relitivle low price with DirectX 9.0 or maby 10.

Changing the video on a laptop is pretty much the same as changing the entire laptop.
I know because I have a Toshiba Satellite with a Radeon 9000 video which is Direct X 8.1 ---- as you know it is too old to play any new games :(
So I love my laptop and would love to upgrade the video but just not possible in the laptop %26lt;sigh%26gt;
