Can geforce graphics card be applied to intel 845gvad2???

Yes, but only an AGP card. And why does it have to be a GeForce?

The absolute best card series for AGP you can buy is the Radeon X850 series. But yes. You can install an AGP video card in this motherboard

Overclocking Graphics card in laptop??

i have a Hp Dv9000t laptop with a Nvidia geforce go series 7600 graphics card, used coolbits and such but not sure if im doing it right or a bad idea i know you can overload the cpu and it will overheat much thanks appreciated

Overclocking Graphics card in laptop??

No do not try to ovrclock a laptop graphic card! Laptop cooling systems barely manage to cool the system under normal work load. You cant upgrade the cooling system and it will overheat.

Overclocking Graphics card in laptop??

Well if thats the only thing your gonna do, then its a bad idea, however, if you put in a better cooling system then that would be the solution for overheating.

Overclocking Graphics card in laptop??

i dont know what you think you can do but your pcs bios dont suport over clocking but if you want you can change the graphix aperature size to a larger size is ok but that is not overclocking

Overclocking Graphics card in laptop??

i dontk o

Im planning on buying a Nvidia geforce 8800 graphics card is there more than just the card to great

Hi Seth as long as the rest of your pc is up to scratch (at least mid range dual core cpu and 1-2 gigs ram) u should be fine.

BUT, Don't get the gts. the gts is old technology now that the new _gt_ has come out. the gt is a much faster card.

This new chipset really is impressive. Up until a couple of months ago something this fast would have cost over $600.

yeah 8800 series is good for gaming.......dont know your specs so it is hard to say if you can just plop this card in and run smoothly.....you need a decent psu to run these cards.....no less than 450 watts is what i think you need.....cpu comes into play...pretty much need a dual core, and ram also comes into play here.......if your running xp 2 gigs should do and vista 2-3 gigs is what ya need.........tiger direct is good, another good place to try is newegg.com......cant really help to much more....thats just the basics for a decent comp.......i would definetly check the wattage on your psu though so ya know what you can get.......

My graphics card is SO WEIRD, i need help?

This is really starting to piss me off. Whenever I'm on the internet and I scroll down, it's supposed to be smooth right? Well, mine is really slow and laggy. I can't explain it... I hope someone knows what I mean. I THINK this is my graphics card, but i'm not sure. I know it's not a virus.

Also, another question... when I try to play a game, it says I need a Directx 9.0 compatible driver or something like that and the game won't work?? What does that mean?

My graphics card is SO WEIRD, i need help?

When you get your PC, you should have a CD. The CD help you install Driver for video card. Driver get your Graphic video card to active it so you will get an smooth image. DirectX is a driver for all the games. You will need to install the DX9 to able to play the game. DX9 is a Image support file to help you in the smooth gaming.

But Before you install a Directx9, please find out which Video card you have. Or else it wont work right!

You can Download Directx9 here!

I hope this helps~! Good luck!

My graphics card is SO WEIRD, i need help?

you need to install the drivers for your vid card. find out what it is using belarc advisor, goto the vid card's site, i.e. nvidia, ati etc, then get the drivers

My graphics card is SO WEIRD, i need help?

Before trying to play a game, often you can find the "minimum system requirements" to play the game in the FAQ's if the game has a website. Directx 9.0 has been out for several years. Your video card may not be a DirectX 9 card. If your video card isn't a card but is a chip built into the motherboard, it may not be powerful enough to run the game.

I'm about to upgrade to a new graphics card...need recommendations...?

Can you recommend a graphics card? My video card budget is $200.

I would like a card that will allow me to play games like Bio-shock, Lost Planet, or other graphic intensive games at high if not maximum graphics level.

The graphics card will be working with a Core 2 Duo 2.33 GHz, 1333 FSB, 3GB RAM, 800MHz

These 2 are pretty dope:

$199

$134

It's not within your budget, but the Nvidia Geforce 8800 Ultra is Awesome

I'm about to upgrade to a new graphics card...need recommendations...?

Goto the game sight and see what the minimum/recommended graphics cards are. For my graphics card I wanted to play a game called dreamfall so I went to the support section of the website and clicked on System Requirements. Also, pricewatch.com will let you compare graphics cards bye model and price.

I'm about to upgrade to a new graphics card...need recommendations...?

Nvidia cards are really really good. Try and get something that has at least 256MB of memory. Any less than that and the games won't look as pretty. I've got an Nvidia GeForce 7800 that has 512 MB of memory and it makes things look pretty nice. Also check out ATI Radeon video cards.

Good luck!

I'm about to upgrade to a new graphics card...need recommendations...?

I am pretty sure that you will need Direct X 10 card for them to work well, which only works with Vista, and more so because the next wave of games (the ones released in the next 6-10 months) use Direct X 10. Is it possible to get one for under 200 bucks? I don't think so... but they might have gone down. My fiance bought his two Gforce FX 8800 (overclocked) video cards for $700.00 (350 each) but that was a few months ago. Bioshock plays great on it, and from what he says there won't be issues with games like Crysus and such. We live in Canada though, and most electronics cost more for some stupid reason.

I'm about to upgrade to a new graphics card...need recommendations...?

hmm, why not check the graphic card company or the games for compatability.

Personally, I gave up games because my ISP can't handle them.

If you're good to go with your ISP, check the consumer ratings for video cards.

I'm about to upgrade to a new graphics card...need recommendations...?

Go get the Nvidia 8600GT (~$150) or the better Nvidia 8600GTS (~$200). These are the cards to get for under $200 and trust me, they get the job done. Don't Bother looking up the 8800s because that thing is EXPENSIVE!!!

PS: 8600GT need only a 300W PSU

8600GTS need 350W PSU

PSP Slim graphics when you plug it on tv?

i wanna know if what the psp slim graphics like when its on tv, is it like ps1? ps2?...

PSP Slim graphics when you plug it on tv?

they stay the same. almost close to a ps2 and most times better then a psx. they do dont improve nor get worse just by plugging it in to a tv.

PSP Slim graphics when you plug it on tv?

it depends on the tv. i have a 720p lcd and it looks worse then the ps2. and there are side bars that take up most of the screen.

Do graphics matter in video games?

Is it the graphics that draw you to a video game or the gameplay? Now a days it is all about how good it looks but does it really matter?Explain your answers please

Do graphics matter in video games?

To me a great game is a well written game with amazing graphics and reply value. But does a game have to have amazing graphics to be fun? Absolutely not, I still like to play the vintage games (Mario Bros 1-3, Tetris, Pac Man) and I still love them. To me it all depends which game does deserve amazing graphics some games are just addictive and they don't need great graphics but some great games do need them like the first person shooting games or sport games cause the better the graphics the better that game feels if that game is good in the first place. That's just my opinion.

Do graphics matter in video games?

The gameplay

Do graphics matter in video games?

Not really but they do help make a good game great I mean just look at COD 4 1 word STUNNING

Do graphics matter in video games?

i'm not really the game freak but my bro is. he likes the storyline. that draws him in to a game if its story is good. the graphics don't really matter to him (unless they're good)

Do graphics matter in video games?

Graphics would be a bonus, but definitely not what makes me want to play a video game as a whole.

Look at Super Mario World- that game is still being played and it's graphics are no where near the kind of today's skills.

If the concept is smart enough, it keeps your attention, then I think it succeeds as a game. If the graphics suck it doesn't matter because you're still having fun anyway so hence the game's succeeded.

Do graphics matter in video games?

Hell Yeah they do; what the hell is wrong with you?
