how do i stop intell extreme graphics from loading at start up i dont use it and i am low on memeory and it interfears with my pc how do i stop it from loading at start up..thanks steve

start%26gt;run%26gt;then type msconfig and press enter

now go to start up tab

and disable the program from start up

I must assume you are talking about a software companion to the video drivers you have.

Just an FYI, DO NOT uninstall that software or you will likely lose your video drivers as well.

The only way to do this is by (and be careful... you can REALLY break your computer by clicking the wrong thing in here) clicking Start-Run, and typing msconfig

Hit enter, and a new window will open. Click the Startup tab, find the item in the list, uncheck the box, and click OK.

The computer will ask to reboot, and go ahead and do so.

Again, be VERY careful what you uncheck in here... you can easily turn off antivirus or a firewall, and that can have dire consequences.

To disable/enable programs at start up, go to...

Start%26gt;Run%26gt; msconfig

then click on the start up tab, and un-check the "intell extreme graphics" program.
