Is this graphics card good for the sims 2?

I recently just installed the sims 2 Plus all the expansion packs. When I play it, all the walls are flashing red.

I'm guessing it's the graphics card i have,

so I need to buy a new one.

The card which you do want to purchase should be able to run the game. You can see in this link 'http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sims_2' on the right side of the page it stats the requirements needed that card is above the slightly above the least. I also recommend that you go to this site

Apart for that I do recommend that you do not purchase that card because it is quite an old model and if you are interested in getting the Sims 3 in the future you should a newer card that at least supports direct x 9.0c. Feel free to contact me if you still have any inquires.

Its okay, but you wont be able to set things at max and expect no lag. For best performance I suggest this one

Right now im running a radeon 9200 and i can tell you i have to take the graphics down a bit (or else things get really laggy) ..but it does run..for about 20 more bucks you can get the radeon x1650 and believe me it is much better ..my husband has it installed and he can max every thing out ..its well worth the extra bucks ..hope that helps
