Know anything about graphics cards?

I got "black %26amp; white 2" for my PC but it says I need a graphics card with Pixel Shader 2.0 or higher. I have a Dell Dimension Desktop 4550. Do you know the cheapest graphics card I can get that has Pixel Shader 2.0 and fits in my Dell?

Know anything about graphics cards?

almost all the newer card support pixel shader 2.0 follow the link to newegg and search for 1 in your price range. you computer uses a 4xAGP slot so make sure the card you get fits in that catagory. Also i recomend getting a Nvidia chipset.

Note: DirectX 9 supported cards will work with Pixel Shader 2.0

Note: Also make sure your drivers on your current video card are up to date. That might help fix the problem.

OK last note i pulled this from Black and white 2 web site:

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

OS - Windows 2000/XP

Processor - Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent 1.6 GHz

Memory - 512MB RAM

Hard Drive - 3.5GB

DVD-ROM - 8 SPEED (PC CD-ROM version also available in USA)

Video Card - 64MB with 1.1 Pixel Shader*

Sound Card - DirectX 9.0c compatible

DirectX - Version 9.0c

Input - Keyboard, mouse

* Black%26amp;White 2 requires a 64MB video card with 1.1 Pixel Shader support. Supported video cards: NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti series, GeForce FX series, GeForce 6200 or greater; ATI Radeon 8500 or greater, ATI Radeon X300 or greater. DirectX 9.0c is included on this disc and may require the latest drivers for your video and sound card.

You computer takes an APG-8 card. If you did not upgrade your video card you have a 64MB GeForce4 MX 420 card in it. There is a problem with NVIDIA and Pixel Shader 2.0. Try new DirectX and drivers before you jump to a new video card.

Pixel Shader 2.0 is part of DirectX 9.0. Download the latest version of DirectX 9.0C from Microsoft. Be sure to get the latest drivers from NVIDIA. I checked the dell site for updated to your video card and nothing is newer than 2003.

Type "graphic cards" or something like that in the box of the search site as Yahoo, Google, etc. and you'll get what you want more than you need!
