I used to play my Grand Theft Auto San Andreas PC game all of the time, then I got tired of it and removed it from my computer to open up more space. When I felt like playing it today, I installed it (and then re-installed it), but every time I click to start the game, the game launches but you can't see anything, just a bunch of colors. Then, when it gets to the Rockstar Games logo, you can see that perfectly, but then the colors come back. I managed to find my way to start a game by guessing which button I needed to hit (becuase all I can see are colors) and you can make the game out, but it's graphics are all screwed up. It's not a problem with the game. First I rolled back my NVIDIA GeForce4 drivers to the previous version, because the game used to work fine on the same computer. The game won't even start then. So I went to NVIDIA's website and downloaded the latest GeForce4 graphics, but still when you launch the game, it's color is messed up still. Can anyone help me? Thanks.
What is wrong with my graphics?
Can u just check on ur Monitor resolution and Refresh rate....Do set them to the correct values based on ur Video card and monitor capabilities. The latest drivers may always need not be the best. So check with the Games website for any issues or also any games forum...
Do rate if these had helped...

The first thing to do is install another game having same requirements like that of GTA:San Andreas. If it works, perfectly, then no need to get drivers and all that. May be CD/DVD from where u r installing get corrupt. Reinstall DirectX.
The most importanat thing, open ur cabinet, clean all the dust from RAM and Processor especially, and also graphics card. Check all the wires in place or not.
Still if u cant play it, then forget it. GTA 4 is coming prepare for it.
Another way, tell me ur address and i will give u a free cd as i have extra.
Byeeee
