Computer graphics for game?

I have a macbook, OS 10.4.11. I just downloaded the Colin McRae Rally demo for mac, which requires at least an OS 10.4.8. So, it downloaded completely, and I saved it to my applications folder. Then when I tried to open it, it gave me a message that said "Sorry, your graphics card cannot run this game!" What does that mean, and is it possible to fix so that the game will run. I've asked for the full version for Christmas, so I want the demo to work so I can see if I like it or not.

Don't know much about Macs, but the graphics card is pretty much the heart and soul of your gaming experience, so if that's the message you get, the card (which is removable from your computer and depending on the configuration, normally upgradable) is not good enough to play the game. You will probably have to buy another card for your Mac. Cards can get expensive, so shop around first.
