Updating embedded graphics card?

I have an embedded Intel Extreme Graphics card, I've been into the site and downloaded the latest update. The problem is I have no idea how to apply it to the computer.

I've been to the help websites..etc but I still have no idea. Can anyone tell me how to, in simple terms? Or at least send me to a website that does?

Updating embedded graphics card?

probably the file is still compressed. you must see a setup or an .exe file. double click it. it will initiate. follow then the instructions.

or you can right click the MY COMPUTER icon in the desktop, choose PROPERTIES, choose HARDWARE, choose DEVICE MANAGER, click the plus sign (+) opposite DISPLAY ADAPTER, right click the name that appears which is the default name of your video card. choose UPDATE DRIVER. then follow the instructions.

check http://www.upgradingandrepairingpcs.com or check the book UPGRADING AND REPAIRING PCS 17TH edition by SCOTT MUELLER. or check the most updated version of this book if there is any.

thank you

If you are running any version of Windows, go to Control Panel ... System ...Device Manager ...Display Adapter. Left click on the + sign then on the Adapter then right click on Properties and you should see a window with a Tab labelled Driver. Click on that and you'll see a button for Update Driver. Click on that and you'll find a button to browse to the location where you saved the driver. Click on it and follow instructions. BTW all "Clicks" are Left Mouse except where I noted to Right Click on Properties.
